Not an emergency service. Cape Dispatch is an unofficial, independent project. It is not run by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Cape May County, any municipality, or any police, fire, EMS or 911 agency. Information can be late, incomplete or wrong. If you have an emergency, call 911.

By using Cape Dispatch (the website at capemaydispatch.com and the iPhone app) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Information only

Cape Dispatch shows unofficial, automatically processed information. It may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate or unavailable at any time. Do not rely on it for decisions affecting your safety or anyone else's. Follow instructions from official agencies, and call 911 in an emergency. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and to the fullest extent permitted by law the operator is not liable for losses arising from its use.

Accounts

Keep your sign-in details secure and provide a working email address. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

What you upload

Only upload photos and video you took or have the right to share.
Do not upload content that identifies victims or patients, shows people in medical distress, or exposes private information, and do not interfere with emergency responders to get a photo.
No harassment, threats, illegal content, or false reports.
You keep ownership of your uploads. You give Cape Dispatch permission to store, process, display and adapt them (for example cropping, removing metadata, or building 3D scenes) to run the service. Moderators may hide or remove any upload.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or scrape the service, get around access controls, or use it to stalk or target anyone.

Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do.
